Jon Clardy graduated from Yale University in chemistry and received his Ph.D. from the Harvard University in Boston, Massachusattes, USA. He has been a Professor in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at the Harvard Medical School since 2003. His research interests focus on a variety of aspects of biologically active small molecules. In particular, Prof. Jon Clardy is interested in small molecules that are usually referred to as natural products.
Stefan Schulz is a Professor in the Institute of Organic Chemistry at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany. His current research interests focus on the understanding of the function of natural products in their original biological systems.
